“This electric MPV is designed very modernly, with a spacious cabin, offering a more elegant design and a luxurious cabin,” said Maxus Indonesia COO, Yudhy Tan.
Both MPVs can carry up to seven passengers.
The Mifa 7 is equipped with a 90 kWh battery, which can travel up to 480 kilometers (WLTP standard) on a single charge.
Inside, the Mifa 7 is equipped with various advanced technologies such as a large touchscreen, the latest infotainment system with eight speakers, and safety features such as autonomous emergency brakes and driver assistance.
Meanwhile, the Maxus Mifa 9 is present as a premium electric MPV, which offers a more elegant design and a luxurious cabin that can also accommodate up to seven passengers.
The Mifa 9 has a battery capacity of 90 kWh which can cover a maximum distance of 565 km. This car’s battery also supports 120 kWh fast charging.
“These two Maxus models have also been registered for the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) program so that both vehicles are produced domestically, so that they can be accessed by a wider community,” said Yudhy.
Yudhy said that the car, which is currently still imported intact (Completely Built Up/CBU) from its country of origin, China, will soon be assembled locally (Completely Knocked Down/CKD) starting March 2025 at the Indomobil manufacturing facility in Purwakarta, West Java.
Maxus Mifa 7 is sold for Rp788 million while Mifa 9 is sold for Rp1.08 billion (On The Road/OTR Jakarta). Both can be ordered, the units will be delivered to consumers in December 2024 for Mifa 9, and January 2025 for Mifa 7.
