Lexus Indonesia launched a new variant of the luxury MPV LM 500h powered by a hybrid engine, at the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) automotive exhibition held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten, Friday.
“The LM 500h not only offers luxury and comfort like a first class, but is also equipped with dynamic driving performance, but still contributes positively to the environment through lower fuel consumption and exhaust emissions than pure conventional engines,” said General Manager of Lexus Indonesia, Bansar Maduma.

Equipped with a new 2,400 cc Turbo-Hybrid Electric Turbocharged four-cylinder engine, this MPV is capable of providing responsive performance, as well as better fuel efficiency, with acceleration that is claimed to be smoother and more precise control.

This four-passenger car is equipped with DIRECT4 technology with a more powerful eAxle, using an all-wheel drive system.

At GJAW 2024, the Lexus Indonesia booth is located in Hall 5B, ICE BSD with the concept of “The New Era of Lexus Electrified”, featuring 100 percent electrified display units, facilitated by an exclusive luxury lounge.
“For more than two decades, Lexus has been a pioneer in electrification technology innovation, to reduce emissions and realize a carbon-neutral society, and specifically at this exhibition, Lexus is displaying the LM 500h 4-seater for the first time in Indonesia,” said Bansar.
GJAW 2024 will be held from November 22 to December 1, 2024, presenting more than 80 exhibitors, including 27 passenger vehicle brands, 12 motorcycle brands, and more than 40 supporting industry players.
